Celebrating National Coming Out Day with Great Caesar.

Not every rock band participates in social activism, nor should they. But Brooklyn's Great Caesar does. It’s part of their DNA, it’s what they do. So when the band found out National Coming Out Day was coming up, they wanted to do something special. My idea was simple. Bring awareness to the day, 10/11, with 10 live performances in 11 hours across New York. The band loved it, so we did it.

To celebrate National Coming Out Day, Great Caesar played 10 shows in 11 hours across NYC, handing out wristbands and sharing music to spread a message of love and equality. Thank you to all of the folks who joined us, and to everyone working to make the world a more safe and loving place.

We announced via social media, driving traffic to a landing page on the band's website with a video and info about the day.

Facebook posts reminded fans about the event.

Fans could also follow the band on Twitter to see real-time updates or use location info to catch them in person.
